How To Start

Consulting for Organizational & Marketing Development

Create

Organizational Excellence [OE] of product(s) or service(s). This starts with an outline and clear mission that will be completely agreed to and shared by our client and the clients business personnel as a whole. It is critical that goals and strategies be identified and achieved so the mission can be measured as it moves forward.

Analysis

Business Process Improvement (BPI) – Evaluate and review recommended strategies for improving business processes relating to existing technologies and processes. Reduce cycle time, improve efficiency, improve process accuracy and reduce costs.

Development

Quality Management [QM] – Product or Service quality is the single most important factor in determining how well a business competes. It is followed by Delivery and finally Pricing. Continuous Improvement is what QM provides to ensure continued customer satisfaction and keeps a business at the top ranking in its field. QM allows people and processes to be reviewed, updated, and implemented for continuous customer satisfaction at all stages of a business organization. The outcome is continuous Organizational Excellence [OE] by doing it right the first time or as soon as possible.

Planning

DRIVE - People working in a process must know whether it is capable of meeting the requirements, know whether it is actually doing so at any time, and make corrections when it is not.

Processes

Statistical Process Control (SPC) techniques can be used as a tool and as a strategy for reducing variability, to create part of the continuous improvement approach. SPC can lead to a reduction in the time required to produce the product or service from end to end. This is partially due to a diminished likelihood that the final product will have to be reworked, but it may also result from using SPC data to identify bottlenecks, wait times, and other sources of delays within the process. Process cycle time reductions coupled with improvements in yield have made SPC a valuable tool from both a cost reduction and a customer satisfaction standpoint.

People

Performance Management [PM] requires us to develop training methods that produce a balance between ability and accountability. If all employees are to participate in making the company or organization successful (directors and managers included), then they must also be trained in the basics of disciplined management. They must be trained to:

  • Evaluate the situation and define their objectives
  • Plan to fully achieve those objectives
  • Implement the plans
  • Check that the objectives are being achieved, and
  • Amend and take corrective action if they are not.
